BSc AGRICULTURE

This programme aims to develop proficient graduates capable of integrating diverse agricultural components into farming systems, including crop and livestock production, soil and water management, agroforestry, integrated pest and disease management, crop livestock integration, appropriate farm mechanization, postharvest handling, agribusiness, and climate smart agricultural practices. By providing a strong foundation in agricultural sciences and practical training, the programme equips students with the knowledge and skills needed to assess farmers' socio economic and environmental conditions and to deliver resource efficient and environmentally responsible solutions. As a result, graduates are prepared to address the growing demand for sustainable and productive agricultural systems and to contribute to improved farm productivity, climate resilience, food security, income generation, and the development of both smallholder and large scale agricultural enterprises.
