Midwifery is a vital, evidence based health profession dedicated to providing holistic care to women, newborns, and families throughout pregnancy, childbirth, and the postpartum period. Midwives are central to promoting safe, physiological birth and delivering comprehensive sexual and reproductive healthcare.
